Lessons
At Affinity Stables we are committed to the highest standards of safety while learning all there is to know about horses. At Affinity Stables we produce many great riders, some of which enjoy competing, while others just enjoy the horse company. We welcome all riders with goals of all types.
Our main goals are to keep our riders safe, to make sure they have a great experience and are always learning and progressing.
LESSONS
Our program is geared towards riders that have some experience but are wanting more or have goals of getting into showing. Due to this lessons are only offered to those with their own horse or are half leasing. We offer private one-on-one Flat lesson or a group jumping lesson. Dressage and Hunter/Jumpers is our main focus.
LESSON POLICY
Lessons must be paid for on a monthly-basis (for the entire month) on the first lesson of each month (we accept Cash, Etransfers).
We require all lesson students to take a minimum of one lesson weekly as this is the best way to learn and progress in the sport.
On months that have 5 lesson days instead of 4, students are to pay for the full 5 lessons. This means your monthly rate may change depending on the calendar month.
Students may choose to do more than one lesson weekly if desired.
CANCELLATION
At Affinity Stables we have a 2 hour cancellation policy. If for any reason you must re-schedule your weekly lesson, we require a minimum of 2 hours notice, or the lesson will be forfeited.
AGE
We require all students to be 6 years of age or older.
We do not have an upper age limit, we have adult students of all levels.
RIDING ATTIRE
We supply all of the tack (equipment) for the horse. Students are responsible for wearing a boot with a small heel and wearing an ASTM-approved helmet (one will be provided if you do not have your own).
RATES
Private Lesson: $40 on your boarded/half lease horse (30 mins)
Group Jumping lessons: $40 on your own horse or leased horse. (60 mins)
